Sustainability theme

The "seed" I wanted to plant was a seed of awareness that the digital is also physical. Every digital product also has a physical cost. Speaking in terms of green house gasses, for games that means energy draw from the game as well as embodied emissions from the manufacturing of the device. This game focuses on the energy draw which can be translated into GHG emissions according to the standards Sustainable Game Alliance has created (Scope 3.11 Use of sold products for PC). 

In this game you can collect normal XP, but you can also collect seeds. Seeds will give you better and stronger powerups compared to normal ones, but you trade it for things that draw energy from your computer. For example framerate, light, and color. In each of the seed picker menus you see how it affects energy draw and why.
